Mai - May 2015

07th June 2015
[Scroll down a little for the main English text]

Fe wibiodd mis Mai heibio yn llawer rhy handi, a does dim llawer o ffotograffau i ddangos hynt a helynt y mis.

Daeth hen ffrind coleg na welais ers tua ugain mlynedd i aros acw am wythnos efo'i bartner, ac felly does fawr ddim ôl gwaith camera i'r wythnos honno. Yna fe wnes i gwpwl o jobs ar gomisiwn (felly alla i ddim eu dangos hwy ar y funud).

Braf oedd cael rhoi sgwrs i Ferched y Wawr - cangen Aberystwyth, a brafiach fyth oedd derbyn ganddynt rhyw £155 ar gyfer Ambiwlans Awyr Cymru. Diolch o galon os ydych chi'n darllen hwn - rhodd anhygoel o hael. Gan fy mod i wedi sgwrsio yn Aber yn lled ddiweddar, roedd rhaid i mi newid cryn dipyn ar y cynnwys, a chefais ganiatad i gynnwys rhai lluniau o un o gomisiynau diddorol y mis cynt. Sgŵp i MyW!

Fe fues i i lawr yng Nghaerdydd am ddeuddydd i gario bagiau Marian, a llwyddais i fynd am dro efo'r camera bach poced yn ystod un prynhawn.

Roedd sawl rheswm arall hefyd pam nad oedd llawer o hwyl tynnu lluniau - pwl o salwch a llawer o bethau bach i'w gwneud, megis twtio'r ardd, digido hen fideos o'r plant yn fach... dw i'n dal wrthi efo'r rheini. Esgys parod am ddiffyg lluniau ar gyfer mis Mehefin, siwr o fod!

___

May disappeared very quicky with little new photo activity. A couple of commissions - so I can't show those, a week's visitation by old friends we hadn't seen for about 20 years, a trip to Cardiff to carry Marian's luggage (!), all of which somehow took a big chunk of the month.

I did give a talk to Aberystwyth Merched y Wawr. This was a nearly new talk (as I'd only recently given my usual talk in town). I received from them a donation of £155 for Wales Air Ambulance. Amazing, and many, many thanks to them for their generosity. I was given permission to show a few pictures from one of last month's commissions, so they got a 'scoop'!

There were many other reasons for my dismal catch of photos this month, such as gardening odd jobs, digitising old home videos (this exciting task continuezzzzzz), and I didn't really feel too bright at all for most of the month.

Fues i am hydoedd yn ceisio casglu arian i'r rhain - mae'n bryd ail feddwl am eu strategaeth codi arian o dŷ i dŷ. Byth eto!

I spent parts of several days trying to collect donations for this cause - time for a strategic door-to-door rethink!
